Spicy Egg Curry Recipe

There are many types of delicious egg curry recipes available in India and abroad like egg masala curry, South Indian Style anda curry, North Indian masala anda curry, Punjabi style anda curry, Spicy Egg curry recipe, etc. But Spicy egg curry recipe in Bengali style is a very unique, delicious, and flavourful dish of non-veg category. This egg curry recipe is very delicious but very easy to cook.

If you want to taste something new then try this delicious and ‘spicy egg curry dish’. It is not only very tasty but also contains high protein, vitamins, and minerals. You have tasted various types of egg masala curry (anda kari) before but believe me, this Bengali style masala anda curry is different from them and you can’t forget after tasting it. This spawn dish can be served with plain rice, roti, plain paratha, jeera rice, Biriyani, etc.

Ingredients Of Spicy Egg  Curry Recipe :

  • 5/6 boiled and peeled Egg
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1.5 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 3-4 Green Chilli, chopped
  • 2  Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 small to medium size Tomato, chopped
  • 11/2 tablespoons coriander Leaves, finely chopped
  • Mustard oil 1 cup
  • 2 teaspoons Garam masala or Chicken Masala
  • 1 Bay leaf (tej patta)

How to prepare Egg for Curry :

  • 1. Take 5/6 boiled and peeled eggs in a bowl.
  • 2.  Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and salt as needed.
  • 3. Mix these thoroughly to the eggs and keep it 3-4 minutes.
  • 4. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium flame and Shallow fry the eggs until they are browned from all sides.
  • 5. Set-asides the eggs.

How to make Masala Anda Curry:

  • 1. First off all, take a heavy-bottomed pan and add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and one bay leaf (make the bay leaf 2-3 piece) and saute it for 1- 2 minutes.
  • 2. Now add chopped green chilli , chopped onion and salt into it and Saute them till golden brown.
  • 3. Now add ginger- garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, salt, 1 teaspoon garam masala or chicken masala powder, 1/2 tablespoon coriander leaves and mix them well.
  • 4. Shallow fry them upto  2- 3 minutes add some water and let it simmer.
  • 5. Now add chopped tomatoes, mix them well and saute them until they make like paste (gravy).
  • 6. Now add 1 to 2 cup water into it.
  • 7. Put the eggs into the boiling gravy mix them well.
  • 8. Now covered the gravy pan and boil it 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 9. Now open the cover and add 1 teaspoon garam masala powder or chicken masala powder and 1 tablespoon coriander leaves and mix. Bring to simmer for 1/2 minutes. Now bring to simmer down the egg curry.
  • 10. Finally, the delicious and spicy “egg curry recipe“ is ready to serve.

4. Shallow fry eggs with low flame until the color changed to light brown.

How to make Masala Anda Curry:

  • 4. After 2- 3 minutes add some water and let it simmer.
  • 5. Now add chopped tomatoes, mix them well and saute them until they make like paste (gravy).
  • 6. Now add 1 to 2 cup water into it.
  • 7. Put the eggs into the boiling gravy mix them well.
  • 8. Now covered the gravy pan and boil it 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 9. Now open the cover and add 1 teaspoon garam masala powder or chicken masala powder and 1 tablespoon coriander leaves and mix. Bring to simmer for 1/2 minutes. Now bring to simmer down the egg curry.

  • 10. Finally, the spicy and delicious egg curry is ready to serve.

Precaution During Making of Masala Egg dish:

  1. Don,t over-boil eggs.
  2. don,t overheat the pan during shallow fry the eggs and at the time of gravy making.
  3.  Taste the salt during making the gravy.
