The tequila sunset cocktail is an ambrosial and delicious tequila cocktail that makes you feel like a beach bum on vacation! This cocktail is perfect for helping you to relax and cool off, especially after scorching hot weather.
Hot and muggy summer days call for refreshment and relaxation, and the tequila cocktail should be the best drink to fall to.
When Should We Drink It?
The weather in various places worldwide can be unpredictable, with a series of cloudy and rainy days followed by a miraculously sunny day before the rain returns. When the sun rises, our main intention is to get out, relax and enjoy the day. We like to have a glass of drink in the evening while watching the birds and squirrels soak up the last rays of the sun. This tequila Sunset cocktail is a perfect drink to end the day.
Furthermore, this is a captivating cocktail that makes my friends and visitors say, “Oh my goodness!” I love this drink too much because it is nothing but a feeling of paradise!
Sometimes nothing hits the right spot like a refreshing summer cocktail on the beach. Tequila cocktails like margarita or tequila sunrise are great, but we love to mix them with this Sunset tequila. Full of flavor with a nice nuance to please your guests or just yourself.
TEQUILA SUNSET VS TEQUILA SUNRISE
The Sunset drink is different from the tequila sunrise. It is like the tequila sunrise beach cousin who loves peach schnapps. It has so many great flavors and a small amount of grenadine on the underside of the glass.
This sunset cocktail looks fantastic and tastes even better. Finally, the cocktail was made to help you relaxed after a warm, sunny day.
In preparing the tequila sunset, the first thing you would need is tequila; the silver tequila is most often the best. Then add Peach liqueur, Grenadine, Slices of lime, Maraschino cherries. You should know that this is a tequila cocktail, it’s not a margarita, so no salt rim is needed.
How to Make This Cocktail Drink
To make a tequila sunset recipe, you should start by loading a shaker with ice cubes. Then go head to head with Amaretto, peach liqueur, silver tequila, and pineapple juice. Shake it for about 30 seconds. The can will get very cold! And then, fill a tall glass or Collins glass with ice and pour in the tequila mixture until the glass is almost complete.
Then slowly pour the grenadine down the side of the glass so that it falls to the bottom, forming a sunset effect. You are now ready to decorate the drink. I like to put a lime wedge and a few maraschino cherries on a cocktail stick. Also, you can set the lime on the edge of the glass and put the cherries on top of the ice.
