Can We Use Peanut Butter Instead of Almond Butter?

Absolutely! Although I have used almond butter for this recipe, it is not a hard and fast rule. If you prefer peanut butter to almond butter, you are free to use it as well. You can use both creamy and chunky peanut butter. The main idea is to use nut butter. No matter what you love, you can use it to make a quick and tasteful breakfast.

This toast recipe is very quick to make. You can make it using almond butter, peanut butter, or even plain butter with blueberries.

Equipment

  • 1 Frying pan or toaster

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slice whole bread
  • 1 tsp butter, unsalted
  • 2 tsp almond or peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp granola
  • fresh blueberry, to taste
  • some pumpkin seeds
  • a pinch cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Place a frying pan on medium heat. Add about ¼ tsp butter.
  • Once the butter melts, place a whole wheat bread slice and toast it.
  • Once it is toasted, flip the slice and add ¼ tsp butter to toast the other side.
  • Once done, take the slice out and repeat the same with the other slice.
  • Spread almond butter onto the toast and spread blueberries, pumpkin seeds, and granola on top.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and Enjoy!

Notes

  • For toasting the bread you can use a toaster also.
  • For extra flavor, you could add some other fruits like strawberry, coconut chips, etc.
